The High Quality Andes® Hiking/Walking Poles are great for anyone walking around the countryside, mountains etc. They have an antishock feature which is particularly useful when descending steep hills or to save elbow strain. Also have removable ferrules and snow baskets. Use the removable snow baskets which can be attached to the base of the pole, these are designed to prevent sinkage in soft ground or the snow. These poles are lightweight but extremely strong.
